I don't see an entrance back to lvl 1 from level 6, but I do see reference to one in level 9
It is the same place. I don't use the maps that most people use very often (stuck in the old school or making my own <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )
It is the area where you find the Crystal Bag and fight some Gargoyles, then you can get back to the areas that you want.
