It's not exactly an original idea, there are caption contests all over the internet - including at least one other than was running for while on another section of this forum. And caption contests go back for years - way before the coming of the internet. I have a book of winning Caption Contest entries taken from a British humour magazine that dates back to the 1970s.

A few more hours to go, but at this stage Hakea is out in front for me. I liked both his tribute to Rodney Dangerfield and his caption with the baby looking at Elle's frontage (ah, lucky baby.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ).

Close behind is Plowking who managed to make me lough out loud with his caption about Divinity 2. No mean feat to come up with a witty caption that didn't rely on boobs, poo or willies for the punchline. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Spick's are still close in the running too. All 3 were funny and it was a nice idea to tie the baby's cheery look with his cider sig. (but don't try this at home folks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> )

Looks like a beautiful day here today, so I'll disappear and enjoy myself and come back later and see if anybody landed a late killer punch... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/freak.gif" alt="" />

I've got another busy week coming up and I might be struggling to do justice to the task of picking a new picture and judging the next winner.
