I finished Act I, and the first time I went on to Act II, it run perfectly, but I didn't save and died. Fortunantly I saved it by the stairs that goto Act II. But now when I try to access Act II, it loads 3/4 of the way then crashes to the desktop..

Anyone got any ideas what is wrong?

Regards,

Dippy.

1. Are you playing under Win98SE? If so, change your resolution to 640x480.

2. or you update to 1.45, that prob is supposed to be solved then.

if both of my guesses are wrong, please tell us a bit about your system

Welcome to the forum, AlepH <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

if your graphic card steals 64 of your 256 MB RAM, could it be you lack this then to meet min. requirements? Looking at the box => 256 are necessary and if I understand this share business correctly => your laptop is under it in the end result (only 192 left for the game).

a bit under, but there is totally no lag. I could play with 1024 FSAA 4 and Fog and there is no lag...

(i wanna say GG to programers, because DiabloII is laggy on my labtop but not BD... some good performances <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

so i don't think it is a RAM problem. This may come from S3Savage Video Card perhaps dunno. Waiting for answers ^^

In Windows Explorer, try browsing to the folder '..\Beyond Divinity\Static\' and see if you can view the Act2.mpg video from there. One person had a video filter installed that the game was having problems with.
