There are 8 "normal" saved game folders with specific names and 8 saved game folders with the exact SAME names but which have a .tmp extension also, for ex., "quicksave.5" and "quicksave5.tmp". The tmp folders have 29 files in them and the "normal" game folders have only one file, "inv.b0" of ~40kb. When I try to load any of these, the game kicks me out to the desktop.
There are also 7 other "normal" saved game folders that can be loaded, played and they have no .tmp folder of the same name. These folders have 30 files in them, the extra being, "inv.b0".
Hmm. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> could I copy the 29 files in the .tmp folder to the "normal" folder and...? I'd better wait for your reply so I don't make things worse! TIA.
