I want to let you know that I updated my BIOS (it's been 14 months since I got this computer, new) and all of my video problems with the game have gone away! Still have some minor problems with my desktop screen but I think there's a screw loose. If anyone else has video frequently going bonkers during game play, they might investigate BIOS update as a possible solution.
