Is it speacial can I do something with it exept eating ! Is it for a quest or something ?

i don't remember where he is..but there is an imp somewhere who wants to make some kinda new mushroom variety or something..and he asks for it..as a quest..but i didn't know you could eat it..lol eww <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

There are two different mushrooms.

The large pretty one from the southern woods is, as noted, quite tasty and improves your luck.

The imp farmer wants a different one - you find it to the northwest - guarded, more or less (usually less).

lol..yeah <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> just think how very MUCH elves hate dwarves!..grr ..hint, hint....

That nice little guard has a 100 splitting arrows for you... And it's not like he's difficult, and I'm an archer, so...
Apparently the game doesn't think this is an evil act (I guess because you say: die and he attacks you?) because it didn't influence my reputation at all.
