I went back to the previous save to do some more exploring of Academy lvl 3 before tackling that area again ... and have come to the conclusion this is a cerebral level that needs thinking about as well as the dashing and bashing. I'm slowly working my way round the various puzzlements, trying to work out the significances (and sure in one or two of them I'm missing the point - the dreaming imp? I must revisit him I think. It can't end the way it did for me - they wouldn't waste so much rtime and effort creating all those graphics etc for nothing. Would they!) ... avoiding those 'ghosts' for the time being.
