Discipline => yes, this is important - same goes for team spirit. I'm glad your trainer was able to put confidence into your team. And I really like the way you described how your goal keeper was finally put into the place to show his abilities.
Rehagel would not have succeeded if he would have trained a bunch of "stars" with overblown egos. I saw a lot of them in other teams. "There can only be one" to tell what and how to do it in a team game, so all play together instead of against each other. And thankfully the Greek press supported your team, not putting them down. So, your team was carried by enthusiasm and confidence => by press, fans etc.
