Can anyone tell me what just happened, I found the Imps needing a potion in Mushroom forest, I pulled out the 4 "unknown potions" from Alchemists hut and then drug the first 2 over each other they disappeared, the 2nd pair became a large potion. What is it and what do I do with it. Also, how do I cure the Imps?

Do you have any alchemy skill? Because there is one alchemy skill that allows you to combine portions. So parhaps that is what happened.

I don't know if I have Alchemy skill but they combined into 1 large bottle?

Then you must have one alchemy skill wich allows you to combine portions. As for the other that disappeared, please check your inventory or look at the ground if you have droped them.

How do I find out what it does?

If you are refering to the skill, whell you can open your skills window (button under your portrait) and by placing the crusor on a skill you will have the description. The alchemy skill I assume you have, permits you combine portions thus create biger bottles of portions or combine two different portions and get one health portion. I would suggest for you to check all the skills you have invented points and see what you have. Then if you could please inform us which skills you have and what class your char is (mage, warrior etc).

Bergie => these unknown potions turned into Emu Eartes Sues, the potion your imp wants. No alchemy skill necessary for this. Your first attempt to combine is designed to fail (story design) - your 2nd attempt creates this potion.

Cure imps => is part of the main plot and involves these quests:
1. "Find cause of the plague"
2. Report to chieftain's son, he gives you:
3. "Find alchemist"
4. If you find this alchemist - you get
5. "Cure for the plague"

Which sequence is triggered in your log book?

Alchemy combine skill in general => allows you to drag one of your stamina, health, mana potions over another and create a restoration potion. Depending on your skill lvl (lvl 1 => small potions, lvl 2 => medium - lvl 3 => large)

For the paralyzed imps in the mushroom forest (around a large mushroom), a book nearby tells you that a spider web (from spider forest) and mushroom extract (house in imp village) need to be combined to make an antidote for the mushroom spores.
