Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks BF Boss Monsters Missing

The third dungeon in act I and the first dungeon in act 2 are missing boss monsters. I fought my way down to the third level(the small room) in each dungeon, only to find nothing. Well I did find a statue in the act II dungeon boss room. Is this random? Why would the first two levels be populated but not the third? It's a bit anoying after working your way all the down to the bottom room.

Random generating is the reason for your XP: sometimes you find no boss, sometimes several in the same dungeon, sometimes 1.

I noticed this lack-of-boss in the first lvl 3 dungeon east of the merchants. Are you saying that we probably came across the boss on lvl 1 or 2 of this dungeon or that we will find him/her in the next dungeon with that dungeons boss?

Also, is carrying the keys around necessary or could they be stashed in a barrel and not affect BF in any way? Because they don't just pop into your inventory when you happen across them--I have three now and their designations are all the same "Battle Field Magical Key" makes me think that I didn't have to physically pick them up even and I would still have full BF. Is there any advantage to having the keys at all then?

If you mean the BF keys => just click on them as soon as you find them, this is sufficient for activating your BF dungeon entry. If you take them with you => they vanish after act change in newer versions).
