Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Act IV summoning quest

I've got all the items for the summoning quest but can't proceed.
The instructor does not recognise that I have all the items unless he is in the original quest room.
I found this out by accident and was managing to go forward but stupidly didn't save at this point and the game crashed. I loaded back and can't seem to catch the !!!!! instructor in the quest room again, he wanders around the summoning room.
Help!

Sorry, I don't understand? Is the summoning room the one where you see a book and these candles?
If so => go out into the main hallway (near the mage's lab) - drop all 4 items and then pick them up, one by one (by clicking, not drag&drop).

Then turn around and enter his front room => do you see XP fluttering up? If so => talk to him. He was in this summoning room in my games and then acknowledged, I have everything.

I had tried dropping and picking up the items in the summoning room (the one with the books and candles) but this hadn't worked. So once again, thanks.
