Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Armour sets

I've almost finshed act 2, and my DK is starting to get weighed down by sets of armour. He's carrying one for my character to move into next level when they are strong enough, but the other two describe themselves as being part of a set (Fire and Zandalor, IIRC). I've also got gloves belonging to Fire and Ranger sets. I've noticed that when I'm talking to merchants, I can't sell these things.

What use are they? Does a set become a lot better than it's constituent parts (because none of them are anywhere near as good as what I'm currently wearing). Are the sets important at some later stage? Or am I just reducing my carrying capacity?

all i know is that if you complete a set it doesn't change one thing. It seems that the names even change when you go from one act to another(but personaly i haven't checked yet) What i know is that even my dolls can't pick them up?!? and I can't sell them either...

When the names get changed on act change, you will be able to sell them or give them to summoning dolls.

I have the same problem. But I don't lug all the stuff around with me. I drop it near the merchants in the Battlefield. At the end of the act I'll go back and sort out what I want to sell and what to keep.

With all the garbage on the ground in this game, you know it has to be safe to leave your most expensive items there too. One big garbage dump:)

I put every thing in a chest and take it with me from act to act. That way I can sell off things right away to get better items and have lots of cash.
