The 3 books you need to fully learn the language are dispersed in each of the first 3 acts (in act 2 and 3 they are found towards the end of the act). You can bring all the Raanaar manuscripts with you, though they do not contain anything essential. Alternately, the ruins are modifications of the standard alphabet, so you can learn to translate them manually if you wanted to.
