- Too much marching in the first one. I don't know how many times I had to amble back to the merchants to sell off my loot, and it's a long trudge. A simple suggestion is to create a second set of teleporter stones that exists in the character's inventory (or on the ground) only while in the Battlefields, whereas the first set of teleporter stones only works while in the main game.
A good suggestion. Here what I do to quickly get to the merchants: I exit battlefields and re-enter it. As you know, you re-enter it on the Camp location.
However RETURNING to the dungeons is really annoying.
- Perhaps minibosses could help add some variety to the dungeons. The first few levels seem kind of repetitive after a while.
There is a Battlefield Act Boss, but I suppose you mean every dungeon having a boss? I wouldn't mind at all, if he dropped some valuable loot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.
- Scale monsters to the player's level, and maybe make the dungeons a lot smaller as a result. At higher levels (at least as far as I've seen), the dungeons seem more suitable for item runs than experience gain, and the monsters become a cakewalk and lose their challenge.
True, true. Every monster I encountered was dispatched in two shots from my bow. Yes, if the dungeons were smaller but with higher level monsters, that would make the BF experience 'spicier'.
