Hi,
The teleporter stones are certainly handy at the Battlefields, but why need 2 sets? I've not found it hard to use them for both settings, but perhaps I have a different pattern of use. Come to think of it, I've hardly used them at all in the main game - maybe that's why two sets seem unnecessary.
In general, I wouldn't want to see the battefield concept in another Larian game unless it was given a major work over. The fighting action was very repetitive and it quickly got extremely monotonous wading through acres of the same crummy stuff just to find half baked boss monsters or useless quest items at the bottom (which quite often weren't there anyway!).
There are other games that do the repetitive hack and slash thing better, and my own preference is for Larian to stick to the "hand made" feel of quests and locations that was done so well in DD.
I agree that the overall concept could be fun, but the way it's been done in BD each section just feels like yet another mediocre "McDungeon". I prefer a more individual style of cooking! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
