Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks act IV pipes level 2

I've been wandering around now for ages trying to find the summoning book to do the 2nd quest. In the room with the dead imp I've either picked up the book / note and can't find it,( even tho both characters do not have the item) or the game is not recognising that I have picked it up. Tried all various different ways and still the book does not show.
Anyone help out there please

The book is on a body in the area you cannot get to until after you persuade an imp to open a locked door - to the SE of the new area - that is where you can't get it (or can't get it recognized)?

After I posted my thread, I went through both levels of the pipes ( I had obtained the key before posting the original thread)marked every lever, chest, entrance and exit .Got to the room again which was empty and still no imp or book.
Is there a way to duplicate lost items like there was in DD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

I am exactly the same. Cannot advance any further. The imp will not even give me the key?!!?!? I cannot move the drugs quest to a conclusion either.

To get the key you have to have the 2nd summoning quest active, talk to student Dotharhar, talk to nixfix, talk to taxlehix and he'll give you the key.

It's ok now. Managed to go back to a saved game just before entering the academy. Found everything where it should've been. onto level 3 and beyond <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
