On a key related note, when I use the teleporters in the north of the dead forest, I can (on the third island), collect a key. What does this fit?
That key fits a chest located on the ground in a little nook area on the SWish edge of the Spider Forest. Enter the Spider Forest and walk/run along the left edge and you should get to it.
