Chacranajxy, have you ever played Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood? A nice game made like Commandos and Lords of the Realm combined.
In that (mind you: 2d) game, you could draw figures with your mouse for combat. You click on your enemy and your character takes out his weapon. A short line means a quick trust, a long line drawn backwards means a precise and slow thrust, a half arc means arc slash to the left/right (depends on the direction) and an infinity figure meant a super deluxe mumbo-jumbo combo which rarely worked because it was slow.
I don't know, it might've worked for DD2 but I am sure Larian already decided to keep things as they are <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.
