What I will agree with is that Larian should stick to the Divine Divinity formula for DD2. Honestly, while an excellent game, Beyond Divinity is really too different from Divine Divinity. Now, I know that this was Larian's goal, but the game just seemed too different in the combat, skill system, the layout of the acts, and the environments. I prefered Divine Divinity in almost every respect and though Beyond Divinity was a great experience, I'd rather see something more like Divine Divinity for Larian's next game.

Honestly though, if DD2 was the exact same game as Divine Divinity except with better grahpics, I'd probably love it. That's how good DD was.


Usually it is I who dislikes dungeon crawl but BD made it interesting with all the quests and interesting objects.

I wonder what Larian will decide for Divine Divinity 2: there are people who still prefer DD and there are people like me who like Beyond Divinity better...
