anyone know what the Ranger glove does (it says Ranger set). It's stats doesn't seem that fantastic. so anyone can shed some light on this?

It does not do anything other than what it says. Unfortunately, there is no bonus for completing a set (and set items are renamed on act change, anyway). If you want to stash it somewhere to pick up later, you will be able to sell it in the next act.

yes, sadly the set items, which started out as a good concept, apparently became no more than an afterthought with a name due to poor planning, since the item names change when moving to the next act. having experienced DD and knowing that items didn't do that there, this can only be due to poor planning or perhaps poor communication, and a deadline that needed to be met. hopefully this will be addressed in the future.

Yea, I hope they bring out a new patch that keeps names of the "rare sets". Inserts more rare sets and also that the names wont change every act.
It also would be nice if it would add a nice bonus when wearing the full set(s) like in Devine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />
