Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks HELP!!!! - Can't finish ACT IV ; mushroom is GONE!

I need help on getting the mushroom for the 1st summoning test. Orginally I had picked up the mushroom to finish the quest, but I decided to reload a prior game from earlier since I destroyed two of the chests behind the 'door riddle with the 4 colored button'. Anyway, the mushroom in no longer in my inventory and it's no longer in the area where I orginally found it. Any ideas on how I can restore the dungeon to get the mushrom back (or where this item is located in the savedata files ;-) ?)

That sounds odd to me, I suggest you go get the quest again at the summon master and then visit the tunnels again after you got the book for summoning ingredients, and see if the mushroom has re-appeared.

Did you pick it up and leave it somewhere?, like near the traders in the BF.

I finally got around it. I shutdown the game, loaded a previous savegame, talked to the imp again, and it reappeared in my inventory. He still didn't recognize I had it, so I tossed it on the ground and picked it back up and it allowed me to give it to him.
