Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Are BFs Best For Better Armor & Weapons Then Game?

Is it my imagination or is it only temporary at times or can one find better armor and weapons in the BFs then in the game proper? If it is true then that is a good enough reason for at least the melee fighter to go through the BF dungeons.

It seems to be about evenly split for me. (Of course, my hero character does have luck of 71, so that might have something to do with it.) I haven't played through a battlefield dungeon since A;t II (am in act IV now); I just got bored out of my wits.

Monsters loot better equipment mostly than you could buy in battlefields to my experience, but it depends on luck I guess.

Yes, the BFs dungeons are very boring and I wouldn't go back to them unless I needed the experience--which I don't--or needed better equipment--which I think I have found on occasion. I'm going to finish the Act II BF quests and attempt in Act III and on not to accept any of the BF quests. I hate to ignore a quest once it is in the Quest Log. Of course they will disappear when the next Act starts. Thanks.

I find that key NPC's (specific merchants related to your build) have a greater chance of spitting out awesome items, no matter what yer luck is. Mines 43 and i came out with a sword for my DK that makes him do over 300 damage; I bought it off the necromancer before you venture outside the imps village, so ya never know. For those that play Diablo2, you know what im talking about. Better chance of finding items is pure dumb-luck. I'm also in act2, Just completed the bottom half of the imp village map.
