Well, I recently got myself a Credit Card, and thought about doing the next sensible thing: Online purchasing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Let me get straight to the point: I've never trusted giving information on the internet, ever. I know that everything is hackable, and I really couldn't afford getting my credit card hacked... I've never actually bought anything online yet in my life.
You see, I want to buy some stuff off of ebay, but it seems like most of the stuff I can only pay for via PayPal, a service which up until now have only heard about.
So here's my question: How safe is PayPal? How do I know that if I give them my credit-card, that they will keep it safe from hackers? I'm asking anyone who might have heard of cases in which someone's card was hacked through paypal.
Also, is there any hidden fees to PayPal (standard, not premium) that I should know about?
