Aflik, dude why should i or any softwear developer be concerned about the people with bad internet conneciton. that is entire their problem.

That's just a typical answer I expect from someone in the 12-15 years age range.
Let's hope you are that old, or you have a lot to learn yet, my young apprentence.

Quote

Why dont you send some canned food to afrika? there are people starving there. instead of paying 40 bucks for a game donate and help the children in Somalia. but you dont care about them do you??? why would i care aobut the people with bad internet.

This must be the most silly comparrison i've seen in a looong time.

And a bit sarcastic also
first of all: sending canned food to somalia? why? Most of them doesn't have a can opener.

secondly, I can make up a few statements in the same catagory as yours:

-why did you buy an house? you could better donate your money the the homeless people so they can have a desent living.
But you don't care about that don't you?? THAT's why i don't care if you have a slow internet connection

-Why don't you save the entire rainforest buy writing all your lines on a portable tabled with chalk.
But you don't care about that do you? THAT's why i don't care if you have a slow internet connection

- why don't you donate your new born child to parent who can not having children? you have already have 2 of them.
But you don't care about that don't you?? THAT's why i don't care if you have a slow internet connection

catch my drift?

on a side note.
post like these I don't do very often.
but the "bad" posts from the last weeks have made me a bit "bitter".
if people come to the Larian forums, then be a bit decent in our statements. it creates a more healtier athmosphere!
you gain respect by giving respect.

And this goes for some older forummembers also.

@VentsislaV,
i'm not picking you as an person ,
but on the remark you just did.
I'm not going to "bash" you in the future. (if this was bashing )

Well, VentsislaV, developers should be concerned about people with bad connections cause that would make more happy people and more happy people is always good. Plus I dont see why you should be concerned about developpers who are concerned about those who have bad internet as this shouldnt do anything bad to those with good connections.

And Barta, I dont think you need to worry, I'm sure Larian has sp in priority.

I agree with the bean.
The "bad" posts from the last weeks have made me a bit "bitter" too.

Sometimes i feel that i have to justify why i like the game.

I like it. I enjoy to play BD. That's all

@ lewis, death & janggut: don't worry, guys. you're still far off from battle.net's high standards of bashing, flaming, & throwing everything you have including the kitchen sink-style of posting.

i would love a multyplayer in the aftergame battlefields. you have doen all your SP quests that most of you say you like, and then you can choose to face oponnents in the MP battlefield or not. i think this would have been a great solution.
very curious about DD2's MP. waiting impatiently

I have to agree with others that development time will probably outweigh the profit, but as I can see, Battlefields or co-operative Hero/Death Knight would be the only multiplayer options here. The other problem is the abundance of non-combat skills. These can severely disadvantage some characters in PvP.

I feel that RPGs (more than just combat based) are often the wrong area for PvP. If you want combat, play a combat game, but PvP story driven games don't work in my head.

he never mentioned about not to make any multiplayer. he mentioned that he prefers multiplayer. he also mentioned your analogies. not to forget, he made the comment on your words, not u as a person. his jest may fall flat, but he was jesting with u in the earlier part of his post. u could've clarify with him.

maybe your masters degree doesn't teach u enough to discern that.

flame me if u will, 20-year old. but don't start throwing stones if your own house is also made of glass. can't we talk nicer?

You're getting a masters in philosophy, and you don't even know how to spell it?

Don't be bad with VentsislaV.
I guess that english is not his native language and he makes spelling mistakes as many people who have difficulties with english.

BTW this does not mean that i agree with his point of view.

[color:"orange"]"the bean ... that was the dumbest post I have ever seen in any forum."
hehehe -> Good for you

[color:"orange"]"In five years form now you read your reply post to me you would probably be laughing as hard as I did"
In 5 years I will read this post again, and I will see that:
what you find -the most dumbest post you ever saw- was a reply on the most silliest post I ever saw.

which makes Ous (in a philosophical way of speaking) equal my brother

The only reason I replied to your post was a little line called
[color:"orange"]"Why don’t you send some canned food to Africa? There are people starving there.
Instead of paying 40 bucks for a game donate and help the children in Somalia.
But you don’t care about them do you???
Why would I care about the people with bad internet."

Especially the last part of that quote.

The only philosophical "note" I could find was this:
I don't care about the rest of the world,
I do ,what I want to do and everybody else is not my problem kind of philosophy..."

But like always,
This is my opinion,(first impression)
So maybe we will have some nice philosophical conversations in the future.

Also on your posts I saw that English isn't your first language.
It isn't mine either.
So it's easier to misinterpreting each other.

No, pretty sure english is his main language. I can tell by how he words things. Forgive me if I'm mistaken.
