The thing with KotOR is that it really got me involved. You actually cared about the characters (Even if that care was the irritation of Carth :P) I really got into it. In ways PS:T did the same thing, having a set group and a main character with a set history allows a deeper plot, at the sacrafice of a bit of freedom. I think this is why people felt it had a "console" feel because this type of plot device is very much part of the console RPG canon. The game could have been improved in some ways, sure, I think thank can be said of any game. But I loved what I got and boy am I looking forward to KotOR 2 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
