Hey, Fafnir was that because of what you said in an earlier post about not
leveling your characters until you became a Jedi? I know that would have
given you alot more Jedi points to be spent.

I've never tried that. I've never held back leveling to reach a certain point
in the game. An interesting thought though.

To Shantara:

That, what you mentioned, and the main reason why I had so many force points is I saved before I did any dialog with anyone.
That way I ensured myself the most Lightside points I could get from any conversation or action possible.
It was also due to my total focus on WIS in the game.
I started with an 18 WIS and I made my CHA as high as I could too.
I was going to choose the path of a Jedi Guardian and my starting STR was only 8.
That doesn’t matter; because, as a Jedi everything becomes WIS and CHA based. At each level up when I was given an extra stat point to place, I always put it in WIS.
I also got lucky and got the +5 WIS visor early in the game so I got that bonus too at each level up for force points.
Then when I got the +5 WIS robes I was again lucky enough to catch one more level which gave me even more force points.

That’s about it in a nutshell.

Yes... Which are the different classes and what are the differences? And about how early will you become a Jedi?

Übereil (less than a month now...)

Well there's a solider, scout and scoundrel...I think. (Didn't pay much attention to them, just lept in as a solider!)

They are pretty self explanitory...scoundrel being your basic rogue type guy. Scout has skills like awareness and such, but you get such a wide variety of characters in your group that you wont be lacking in any area no matter what you choose.

You get your first Jedi powers (and lightsabre) on planet 2 which took me over 10 hours of play. The game is massive, and after you finish the second planet you have free rein to go where you like and do stuff in any order.

Sounds nice... Would like more meat on the bones (meaning more info...), if anyone would be so nice and fill me in.

Lets just say this Übereil.

From watching your posts and seeing the things you like and dislike I'm pretty sure you'll love KoTOR. Just go out and get it before 3 more months pass; because, then KoTOR II will be out.

Fanfir: Christmass, I'll get it for christmass (about the same time, I'll get my new computer , which will be pretty insane, I think). Why? The only things my parents know I whant is= KOTOR, Mellon Collie and the Infinitive Sadness (the Smashing Pumpkins album, yes), and money for my new computer. Apart from that, they know nothing I whant. And they have REALLY bad imagination when it comes to presents to pepole in general.

Sounds like a pretty good Christmas to me, Ubereil.

Don't worry. You will love KoTOR. It isn't the best game to be developed, but it
is good and is very much worth playing.

I noticed that you asked for more info in your previous post. Did you ever get it?
If not give me an idea of what kind of info you are looking for and I will try
to help you.

PS This is the point when everybody's going to start reasoning around what's best to play... DS

Oh, I so loved playing KoTOR!

I've played it more than 5 times and I'm still learning new things about each NPC.
That's what really makes the game for me.

Where are you at Ube?
You inspired me to start a new KotOR game.

I'd say more, but I don't want to spoil your game.

I'm in the end of the first planet (just rescued Bastilla. Whomen's supposed to think she's... what was the word? Bitchy? I wonder why... NOT ). The only thing I wonder is: where is Rukil's apprentice? You know the old dude in the underworld. His apprentice is supposed to be in the sewers, but I havn't found her. Everything else is pretty straight forward (when we needed to get of the planet, we just HAPPENED to run into a guy who needed to get of the planet too, and he just HAPPENED to know how... Coincidences? Guess not...).

and the two others on corpses...
talk to rukil after that...

hmm... think very hard to who rukil's could have been in her life or you won't find the journal
