What are you trying to say DatD? ___________?

And where am I supposed to gather information for my tests? Whaching a video doesn't help when trying to teach the Jedi code...

I am trying to say that Bastilla is a pain in the _____.

Ubereil, this is an RPG which means: talk to everyone.

I talked to everyone (xept of the council...), and when I didn't get any info, I started guessing. At the same time I kept a journal, and eventually I managed to get through it. I've just finnished the third test (nice quest btw), and will probably head back now. Just a little pissed I couldn't get a two-bladed lightsabre... Where can I find a crystall for a new sword (two-bladed/short, doesn't really matter, would prefer two-bladed though...)?

I don't want to spoil your game so I'll give you gloomy hints, ok?

Hint: Exploration is crucial in any RPG...
Hint: Anger leads to the dark side and a two-bladed saber symbolizes anger...

Late hint: Compassion is a virtue to every Jedi knight...
General hint: Patience is a virtue...

So, I have to stick with two lightsabres? If I'm not wrong Bastilla has a two-bladed sword... (BTW, I feel I picked two wepond fighting with the wrong character...)

You feel right: Scout gets free Dueling, if I remember well.

Erm.. DatD? No, they don't...

And I've replayed it, and got further than my scout with my scoundrel (it took about three hours...). Right now I'm on test three, and are trying to kill another jedi. I can barely touch her before I'm dead, so it isn't a very fun quest... A little south of her I have a bunch of mandalareans. One of them kills my main char in 1-2 hits. Any idea what he's useing? He makes a high jump, and then kills me. Pretty annoying too. Not to mention that he has three other guys (not very hard by themself, but the jumping guy makes it a bit harder...). For the moment the game isn't very challenging, it's just (extremely) difficult.

PS how do you change the standard attack of my characters? My main char uses chrit strike, which I don't whant him to use, it pulls down his def way too much. Bastilla's useing normal attack, despite the fackt she has improved flurry (when she had normal flurry, she used it though [Linked Image]). Carth's allso useing normal attack, despite the fact he has improved rapid shot (and I try and keep him on range, so def shouldn't be a problem). Why do they do this? Just to annoy me? To force me to be more active in combat (I have to manually make them use the right attack)? DS

Actually I meant that Scoundrels should get dueling. IIRC, Scouts get first level implant.

Of course it is! You're misusing your character! A scoundrel should persuade, trap and sneak in order to bypass the obstacles.

If I place a chrystall in a lightsabre, can I replace it by another crostall if I find one, or will it be placed where it is?

If you'd use the savegame function and proceed by trial-and-error, you wouldn't need to ask such questions.
Also reading the manual might help.

I can still do it!

Bestiality sure is a fun thing to do
But I have this to say as a warning to you:
With almost all animals, you can have a ball
But the hedgehog can never be buggered at all...

But I won't....

Mona Ogg!

yea, I just got a last minute gift of the hardcover edition of 'The Last Hero' to go with The Art Of Discworld.

Ube,
<span class='standouttext'>Spoiler : </span><span class='spoiler'>
Have you found the Droid for Elise?
There is a cave real close to where the Droid is.
That is where you find some Light Saber Crystals.

The Jedi Code test, speak to any one of the three Counsel Members.
After they tell you it will be in your journal.
Read your Journal and write them on paper.
Then go do the test.

The Murder mystery that you help Bolook with only has one slight flaw to me and that is with the first answer to the initial solve, “The sun glare due to it being cloudy” I have played KotOR over 5 times now and I still don’t get how you would come up with that answer except to pull it out of your back side. There is another tricky part (I won’t say which part) where you talk to the Droid then talk to both Rickert and Handon THEN talk to the Droid again. Then you talk to Bolook about the murder.
End result they are both guilty.

Juhani, you don’t want to kill. Unless you are following the Dark Path.
Force Push works pretty good on her and you can wear armor using that Jedi power.

Fighting the Madalorian’s, use the Energy Shields you picked up as loot on Taris. They will help against Blasters. I also found using Carth and Canderous on the initial part of Dantooine to be the easiest of choices. Just make sure you fully upgrade both of their weapons and give them the best armor. Max them out on the Rapid fire feat.
</span>

I'm playing again.
I'm on Dantooine like you right now and my character already has 156 Force points. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'm a 2nd level Soldier and a 7th level Jedi Consular on the path of the Light. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

@ Ube =>

Choose any regular class you want.
They are all good in their own way.
The only reason why I choose Soldier is for the full armor use Feats given and the 10 HP per level.
I dumb down my constitution and get only 8 HP per level.
I usually start my characters out with 18 WIS and 16 CHA.
I only have an 8 STR to start with, but I just hang back and throw Grenades.
I always choose the single Light Saber route; because, the Feat for single melee weapon gives you a +1 attack and +1 defense each time you choose it.

Yes, it's difficult on Taris, but once you become a Jedi you become very powerful!
When you become a Jedi you should throw each stat point you get into WIS since that is your primary stat as a Jedi. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You only get one so don't use/save those points until after you become a Jedi.
Then put them all in persuade.
You will have max persuade that way. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you talk to the jedi, then to the two men, you'll get an inplausible story as the hunter claims he was blinded by the sun whereas you are initially told that it was cloudy.
