So, now it's done. I'm a lvl 2 scoundrel/lvl 7 Jedi Counsular. I'm currentlly on my way to the grove to challenge Juhani, and I have just the heck of a lot of force points (I think I had about three times the ammount of my HP!). I feel it's now the game really starts...

I am absol, utelly shure it's no the other way around (if it was the other way around I would have done a serious mistake...). I saved levels (only lvled up once as a scoundrel, to get those lvls as jedi) if you wonder how I did it. Of chorse, on Taris I was totally dependent on my henchmen, but now I'm starting to become a mean motha... good, I'm becomeing good...

So you basically screwed up your character: the whole point of a Scoundrel is that you get many ability points to raise your invisibility, persuation, security and traps. By neglecting all that, you complicated your life as your character is still a scoundrel by heart (minimum hitpoints and saving throws). You don't get the special Scoundrel special abilities too.
The game was made with leveling-up in mind: you shouldn't have had any trouble playing at all. You seem to neglect that on many occasions in the game, you get to use persuation to gain much more benefit (XP and reward) than simply fighting the enemy. Often you can make your life much easier by spamming mines arround and you might get powerful items faster if you know how to open locks.
I may be wrong by typing all this, after all it's your choice, but I always feel upset when somebody plays a great Role-Playing Game as if it were just another shooter: Kill-kill-kill-grab new weapon-kill-kill-kill...

Persuation is my main skill... And I have other characters with security and such (Mission is my real scoundrel, I'm a Jedi counsular. The point of a Jedi Consular is to get many force points and many force abilities. I've got many forcepoints and many forceabilities. And I don't think I've screwed up my character... The only reason I picked scoundrel was because I benefited most form it while only haveing it on lvl two. I got scoundrel's luck (+2 def) and enouth skillpoints to be able to have two skills pretty high. I'm not a scoundrel, I'm a concular).

Yes, but I won't need armor, wepondprofidency (I'll use a lightsabre!) powerattack or powerblast. Scoundrels luck, on the other hand, gives an allways handy +2 to def (and then I'll get 1d6 sneakattack. Dammit that's not as handy as it would be in NWN. But when I stun everything I can I make good use of it anywhay).

It depends on how you want to role play your character.

Yes, you can be only two levels of Scoundrel, Soldier, or Scout, if you never level up your character after 2nd level until after you finally become a Jedi.

In fact, I have found, the only thing you cannot do in KotOR buy building your character in this way is repair your droids to get the extra dialogs during game play.
I always use the NPC's for those other skills. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Again, it all comes down to how you want to role play your character.

Not unless you use the 1.33 or 2.07 game editor.
I wouldn't advise it though; because, you really have to know what you are doing or you'll seriously mess up your game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Nope, there wouldn't be much point to that either.

Holding back your levels until you become a jedi is a pretty standard method. You maximise out force powers and force points that way. Which is usually better than taking more soldier/scout/scoundrel levels to do a couple of quests.

Doesn't matter how much you repair HK-47 either. He still blows against enemy jedi.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Soldier 2/consular 18 was pretty much my favourate powerbuild. Lightsider to get certain WIS-boosting items too.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Kyra - such min/maxing, shame on you! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

This time through I found the dreaded Griff bug in the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />
Because I solved one paticular quest before I did it.
Now I can't solve that quest. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Oh, well.

Kyra, how can you be a DD/WM/fighter in NWN? You need sorc or bard for DD.

DD in this case means Dwarven Defender and you don't need any spell caster stuff.
Just note to only take 7 levels of WM / Weapon Master.
Anymore than that in WM and it's sort of a waste.

I've figured that out myself (about the WM, not the DD). He sound pretty hard though... But if you really whant to powergame, it should be Barbarian/DD/WM. The only problem is changeing from neutral to lawfull (as far as I know you can only become more good, not more evil or caotic or lawfull...).

Right now I’ve finished Tatooine and I’m half done with Manaan.

Forget about the Swoop Races.
I’m super terrible at FPS’s and Action Arcade stuff so I never do those quests.
I tried doing that Swoop Race on Tatooine for over 3 hours and could never do it even with hints on what and where and when to do what. I still couldn’t do it, so I don’t bother anymore after the required initial one.
My best time I ever managed was a 24:03.
