What are the biggest No-No's and what isthe best advice you could pass on?

I think i am doing rather well at the momment.I have been to kashyyyk, done the deads there and then i chose to go to Tatooine because of Mission's problems with her family, cleared the Sand people and now looking for the Star map piece. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

KotOR is not that difficult, really, but you're doing good indeed. When you've found all the star map pieces, don't forget to go to the Yavin space station and use most of your cash on some new, cool equipment (he's supposed to sell a really nice crystall, if I remember correctlly). I forgot this, and after you've entered the starforge, you can't go back <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />. So, remember...

I am struggling to get the top time in swoop races at Tatooine! Anywhere i can buy a booster or something? They say i can purchase parts here on tatooine but none of the stores have any parts!! weird or what!
By the way nobody can beat me a the card game, the name of which eludes me.

You may not upgrade your swoop, Spick. In the swoop bike races, you have to use every boost platform you can. If you are desperate for a solution, Bioware has the maps for the three races with reccomendations and hints. View it here. You have to login to view it.

Thanks Baz i have seen the maps before but i chose to race without using them.
I just thought i was missing something after a character said i could buy parts but none were available.

Update: I appear to have level capped at 20.
I hate it when that happens!

Can't remember where you are... Level 20 is a way too low level cap btw IMO. It's better with no cap at all, as in KotOR2.
