The thing is, many people bash the game because of it's graphics.
Well, I'm not speaking about you Xaishi, you're not really bashing the game...

But c'mon... how can you say the environnements int his game are not well done?
It's 2D of course, and the models are in 3D...

I'm beginning to think that many people say the graphics are bad because the only thing they can see are those 3D models... It's like they do not even see the 2D environnements!

I think the 3D models are good... not bad, not fantastic, just average good.
What I think is good about those 3D models, is that I can finally tell the difference about that armour and that armour.

In Divine Divinity, the Dragon Breastplate looked like any other Breastplate.

In Beyond Divinity, when you switch armour, you can see the difference.

That's what I think is good.

And also, it's great because you don't need the latest customized computer to play it.

I think people should start looking at the environnements instead of those little characters. Because in my opinion those are great. I don't think you can reach such level of detail with 3D ( except maybe for Morrowind... but not sure ). The imp houses, the ruins, are really well done. That's what draws me into the game.

And my Hero ( spear-and-shield forever ) looks fine.

Maybe the hands are a bit too small.

But that's really the only thing I have to say <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.
