How do you find this combination? Look at the potions on the table: there's one red, two green, 3 blue and 4 yellow.
The chests in that room can be opened (left to right) by these colours: red-yellow-blue-green. (In the chests you'll find a Permanent Healing potion, a Permanent Mana potion, a Permanent Stamina potion, and a Permanent (? - I think Constitution) potion.
How do you find the right colour? The chests have symbols above them, which you can compare to the Protection Runes (Fire -> red, Lightning -> yellow, Frost -> blue, Poison -> Green </span>
