Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Lost Spider Quest

I don't know how to solve this quest. I ran in to the spider before i knew what to do, i didn't kill it but know i've done what i should have done before finding it, the spider it stays hostile.

How can i solve this quest without killing the spider?

Try this, I'm not sure it will work, but try to find a saved game before you ran into the spider. Copy the story.* files to the current saved game folder.
I'm not sure what will happen to your other quests.

If you do that, back-up your save first. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

It would be safer to reload an earlier save, from before encountering the spider, if one is available. You don't get much of a reward for completing the quest, so I wouldn't worry about it if you'd have to backtrack too much.
