Hi,

Some skills have a max of 6, some a max of 2. I know with some books, teachers, and in the Battle fields I can train these up, but it would be nice to know what they are maxed without unlearning a skill, then seeing how high it will go. Is this possible? Trainers will say what their max is, but I found that skill books do not.

Also I got lucky (very) and found a thing of holy water. Now I'm not exactly sure of all its properties but I heard with extract 4 or 5 combined with it, you can make permament potions. Any one know when you get that? I'm just about to go to the end of act 1 right now, and my extract skill is at 2 max.

If you have enough spare skill points, you can add them to a skill until you can not raise it anymore, then just cancel out of it. I don't think there is an easier way of telling the maximum level, unfortunately.

Alchemy level 4 will let you make permanent potions from holy water and alchemy plants. One of the BF traders (Annabel, IIRC) teaches level 4 in act 2 and above; I'm not sure if it is available elsewhere.

The level 4 extract you get in Act 2, so hang on to the holy water.
