According to BBC News, a malicious code was released which affects machines using Internet Explorer. This exploit is called download.ject or Scob.

To check for download.ject you should do the following:

[color:"red"]*[/color] Click the Start button and then click on Search
[color:"red"]*[/color] Make sure you choose the option to look through all files and folders
[color:"red"]*[/color] Search for files called Kk32.dll and Surf.dat
[color:"red"]*[/color] If infected use up to date anti-virus software to remove the malicious code
