Of course! Few people I know have the guts to climb the Effel Tower in Paris.

Yep i did not climb myself but i had already met people coming from Chamonix in the french Alps who used to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower to fix the lights for lighting the Tower at night.

And not all teachers, in the middle of a test, to the child who fails says "NOW! I want you up in the computer lab, and don't come back until Act 1 is finished on Hardcore!

My eyes are wide, my head is split, my nose is a lake. AHHHH. I smack into things, and am constently moving, why won't they end??? Dang pills and drugs don't do crap!

Lews good for you. About sience I mean. I was awfull back then in those classes. And especially in Maths. A cousin of mine is a maths teacher and he gave me so much lessons but in the end he gave up. I only passed because my math teacher at school was very fond of me and he knew that I was very good in Modern and Ancient Greek. So he decided to give me a chance. I loved him.

barta, what specific subject do u teach? how do u help a student who wants to learn but at the same time having attention problems? i teach a bit as well.

lews, it helps to love the things u're learning. otherwise school will be hellish. that's what happened to me back when ..... we carve our assignments on rock slabs & thesis is written in one whole cave. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> seriously, i loved physics until one teacher taught it so badly i ended up hating it. & chemistry, which i hated at first, became my best-learnt science subject. & i can still recite some of the formulae. but i don't want womble to grill me about benzene ring or amino-related stuff.

I had a recipe for Dried Frog Pills in my Nanny Ogg's cookbook. If you want, I can share with you. It is not guarenteed to cure your allergy but at least it might make you feel (morally) better.

No i never climbed at the top of the Eiffel Tower !
To go at the top of the Tower there is a lift and then stairs.

But i talked to real alpinist climbers who use to come specially in Paris to repair the building or to take care of the lights.
It's a very dangerous job ! As dangerous as climbing the Mount Everest !
I hope that you can spare money and come to visit France someday i am sure that you would like it.

I am a mathematics teacher.
For the student who has attention problems i have no solution !
The attention problems are linked to other things than school.
Going to bed too late, watching too much the television at night, playing too much video games, using drugs as marijuana, family problems as divorced parents or parents who don't take care of their children.............
A teacher can't solve these problems !
Some students can think that you are the most wonderful teacher and some other ones can think that you are the most boring one !
Don't take this too seriously, most of the time you are just a normal teacher doing his job.
