When you click on your secondary skill button next to your character icon in the upper right...do you see a "Enter Battlefields" icon? That is all you need to click on to enter the Battlefields. You have to click on the keys when you find them to get the page that describes what Battlefield level you can enter but you do not have to pick up any of the keys.
