Not all imps are stupid, some of them have heroic values.
The woods arround the Imp village became dangerous: a giant spider settled in a nearby cave and ate everyone who ventured too far from their homes.
No one dared to confront the monster but one small imp who took his staff, his hat and left for the spider's cave.
As he approached the cave, he shouted:
"Hey, you cowardly beast, come on and fight me!"
The cave was silent.
He shouted again: "You, pitful worm, son of a dog, come out!".
He got no reply so he spoke yet again: "Spider, you are a craven, come out, I'll crush you like an ant!".
He shouted on and on but the cave was silent and he could see no movement inside. Finally, angry he left.
As soon as he dissapeared from view, the spider crawled out:
"I might be a coward, a pitful worm, son of a dog, but at least I am still alive!".
