Any truth in the rumour of a new NPC and quest?

I heard a whisper that we will soon be able to meet the fabled "PLAYTESTER" with his back to the wall, battling a swarm of evil "BUGS". But as fast as he slays one, a new one seems to respawn. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> They say we can pitch in to help him but the quest seems impossible to ever fully complete. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" /> Some good experience points on offer though, and perhaps we could offer him a Black potion or two?

Did it make it into 1.46??
