I've only been playing for a week but here are my answers!

1) You should start out with 1 skill point for both characters, but no attribute points to add (when you go into your inventory)

2) Yes

3) I'm not positivly sure on this, so see if someone else posts for this...and yes I know it's kinda hard to choose..but if you a fighter go with 2hand slashing for a tanker, since you can find a lot of good dmg slasher weapons!

4) No 1 per level but every 5 levels (exp 5-10-15 etc.) you get 2 skill points instead of 1. I'm 90% sure there is no extra skill points.

5) For all the warrior skills like what you have said are *passive* and will go into effect without selectign it at all...jsut add points into it *All of them is good, go with acuracy first I say..

6)Unsure both are my chars are tanks and so far is working pretty damn well

7)Idenitfy (all traders can identify anything) embellish (You should have plenty of money and if you don't u SUCK) I use all my warrior profiency skills, sharpen is a must with a tank, also a healign spell couldn't hurt?
