Congratulations to Raze and Kiya.

This may have been said before, but BD has only been out for a couple of weeks in Australia, so I missed any previous comment. Besides, it’s worth saying again.

Hearty congratulations to both Kiya and Raze for winning a part in Beyond Divinity in recognition of the awesome work they’ve done in helping other players on these forums.

For any new posters who don’t know, Raze and Kiya did not name themselves after the characters in BD, but it’s the other way round – Larian named the NPCs after two of the most consistently helpful posters on the forums. I believe there are a couple of others too, but Kiya and Raze are the ones I recognise from the English forums.

Kiya was (and is) legendary for her splendid maps, lists, tips and endless patience in welcoming and helping other posters. Raze is equally tireless with assistance, not only with his enormous knowledge of the games, but also with his extraordinary breadth of technical know-how.

How about some applause for both of them.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

And I can’t help but ask – how did the Kiya versus Kiya fight go?. How did Kiya feel about killing her alter ego in the game (and finding she was an evil witch too!!). Still, I guess at the end she was still #1.

I couldn’t help muttering a small "Sorry" as I handed out the "Twang, slash, splat" routine that I dispatched her with. (Entschuldigung! – is that the right German word??)

Welcome back, Kris <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
No, my char Kiyana had no probs in killing that witch wanting my Pinkie. We do seem to have something in common though: we're both a bit possessive, so I let the DK "decide" and aided him with my "stunning" skills.

As for seeing my alter ego as an evil witch => I was very relieved not to be a female sissy elf crying for her lost love or wanting to be rescued (yarch) or wanting her Knitting Needles of Endless Torture back or.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Damn fine job to you both.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill, because they pissed me off.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> Hi,

Both Raze and Kiya deserve all the kudos they are getting from the forum members for all the valuable help they hand out so effortlessly. But I would also like to thank all the other members who think nothing of adding their two cents of (invaluable) help.
I have personally found this to be one of the best and most caring of forums. If someone has a problem other members think nothing of taking Raze's and Kiya's lead and helping others out.
I guess my mother's sense of fairness is showing. I imagine being one of the "older" members I see things from a slightly different view point. I enjoy reading many of the posts and spend much too much time in the forum.

Your are great group of people.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" />Ferettmom, you might be surprised to find out how old all of us really are! LOL I thought I would be one of the 'oldest' people on the forum when I first came. I may well be, but there are a lot of people who are around my age (and older, I think) who participate in these hallowed halls.

Welcome to the forums!

Back on topic! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Many thanks to both Kiya and Raze for their tireless work in and out of the forums. I may not have said it in the past, so I'll say it now: I really appreciate everything you both have done! Awesome work.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" /> for all us "old fogies"

Gee, it's great to find all these young women playing computer games now... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Cheers from Kris (born in the first half of last century and therefore not all that far off being 60.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> )

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" /> Ahhhh, 'young woman' - excellent phrase! LOL I haven't been called that in ages. You made my day, Kris. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" />

I had no idea there was such a diverse age group here at the forum. I'm loving this place more and more each day. *g*
