Luckily for me, when I did the cure illness quest first (I couldn't stand being around all those sneezing and sniffing imps and I managed to go to the correct Alchemist/Shaman woods first) I couldn't kill the Shaman, so I reloaded a game prior to going in the place with the fragment, to see if some additional experience would help ... and found all the other quests! Okay, I lost a few hours game play, but I completed those other quests ... and got the teleporter stones, so it was worth it.
