Ok, I checked in my save => I had talked to the king and have the "dragon armour quest" unsolved in my log (is blue).
1. went to Sir P.
2. Dialogue was => well met, stranger .... someone broke into my house".

that's all. I exited convo and clicked on him a 2nd time => my char had the option => I was informed you have a powerful piece of armour, is that true?" => and this leads to the Lucius quest.

as you can see => clicking on him for the 1st time leads to his remark about theft - I could only react innocently in Patrick20.jpg and exit the convo.

Clicking on him for the 2nd time gave me the speech options you can see in Patrick30.jpg.
