What must i take with me in the wastelands??
of course my armor and sword
must i bring the sword of lies toy (found in treasure room stormfist castle)?
and stuff like that??

plz help me im going soon to the wastelands.

In any case your teleporter pyramids - and everything you want to keep. There are NO quest items you need to take with you. But as you can't return (only via re-load) - take everything your heart hangs on to. You will only have 2 traders there.

Weapons, Armor, Potions, enchantable equipment and jewelry (only to the extent you intend to use it to the end), your pyramids (both!), - and all the money you can get!!!

No toys, no keys, no remaining quest items (books, manuscripts)

EDIT: You'll be busy in the wastelands, never fear!

Oh, if you like combat - you will "meet" a lot of people. Yes, there is a small village, but it's abandoned (6 "persons" to chat to). Just keep this in mind: you're in enemy country now.

but thats what i miss the cities and the people
and such stuff
and i must almost go to the wastelands

Yes, you are different => you level up (4x?) and have a lot of pts to spend on.

I think I was lvl 39/40 before I fulfilled the Divine Ritual. Then I made the ritual, had 20 skill pts to spend (5 level ups) - and due to my combats there another 5 lvl ups. So, at the end I was lvl 50 - only reached lvl 52 once in all my games (was a German one). I didn't use the "respawn" as some gamers did => killing and resurrecting enemies to level up higher. The Wastelands were not really my favourite area - as I am a quest not a combat gamer.

I was NOT a warrior there - I played DD as a mage in nearly all my games.


Yes, there is a powerful dragon - the Patriarch. Some gamers killed him - I didn't.

why u dint kill him???
he could give a nice item or mutch exp point

Freaker - I NEVER kill friendly creatures. It's just my game style - he is not hostile, and I like dragons very much. Besides this: the Patriarch is dedicated to a German gamer - as a lot of names in DD were.

I don't care for level ups. And as I was clever - he taught me a skill and even gave me a good axe (one I didn't need as a mage). Each to his/her own playing style <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - I recall, I was astonished the Patriarch could be killed - as he could not be attacked in earlier German versions. This was different in the English version from the start, as I learnt later on. the last patch egalised it for both language versions - so, the Germans could kill him, too.

No, you will NOT die - even as a warrior you can survive the Wastelands with a good frost sword. Don't worry, Freaker <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" />

And yeah dragons are beautifull creatures

oh no but i have no frost sword
and i never use weapons that disable a shield
a shield is important
therefor i use mace's (clubs) i have now a morning star

if you search the abandoned village, the middle south house south of the large boulder => SAVE first. Then open the cupboard there - and check the stats of the Sword of Gods. As you can see on my screenshot, this 1-hander sword had frost 5. If its stats are not satisfactory - reload and try as often as you wish, until this sword is good for you (randomness in stats).
