About your protester => are you sure, it was the poor quarters and not in Ars magicana, the mage shop? If so => this protest is correct.

I have started playing DD again and also have the problem with the day/night cycle. I looked up the config.lcl file in windows explorer as suggested but all I get when I click on this is the DD configuration v1.1 box where you can change the display resolution and the rendering system. I clicked on every file and I couldn't see anywhere where I could add splotchproblem 0.

If someone could be so kind as to explain in simple laymans terms (for a non techie <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />) how I can find this file and alter it I would be very grateful.
