[color:"orange"]My deathknight has a sword that I got from the military merchant for stealing the book (it's a deathknights claw). I can see that he is holding it with one hand, but he can't use a shield at the same time. Is this then affected by one handed skill? Does the slashing one handed skill in any way affect the slashing with shield skill?
The Deathknight Claw is a 2H weapon. In fact, the only way to determine if a weapon is 1H or 2H is to equip it, and then check if the shield slot is grayed out. So, for that weapon you need 2H skill.
If you equip a shield with a 1H weapon, your skill is only determined by the "With Shield" skill. If you don't, your skill is determined only by the 1H weapon skill.
In my opinion the 1H solo skill is rather useless, except in the very beginning in the game where it is the only skillpath available
[color:"orange"] I'm at level 13. My DK has these stats: str: 25 Ag: 10 Con: 30 int: 1 sur: 4 spd: 4.
How does that look? In your experience, do i have too little spd, sur? Any suggestions are welcome.
I think you overdid a bit in the constitution part. Better invest more in agility (sharpen!, defensive abilities) and maybe speed.
I finished the game with about 15 base constitution and I did just fine. If you need extra health points, it's better to use your money to buy health charms and use charmable armour/weapon/whatever.
[color:"orange"]How do I use the repair ability? I've used 1 point on it for my DK. When i Right click on a damaged weapon, i can't click on repair. does the weapon have to have 0 durability? Or do I need some sort of tool to do this?
Make sure the char that has the repair ability (your DK) is the lead char (golden box) when you attempt a repair. Also, repair has different levels (should display: requires lvl ... repair). If your repair skill isn't high enough, you can't repair a weapon. The durability doesn't need to reach zero.
[color:"orange"] Should i learn to sharpen my weapons too? I havent tried this yet, so i'm wondering if it would be useful. What does it do?
Sharpen is a must have for a warrior (if you want, you can learn, sharpen (again be sure the char with sharpen is the lead char), and then unlearn sharpen). Basically, sharpen increases the base damage of a weapon, at the cost of a higher agility requirement for that weapon.
