Hi, I'm Severijn and I'm quite new to this forums.
I played the demo of this game recently and read a review about it in PCgameplay and I'm left behind with mixed ideas. I'm not certain if I'm going to buy this game or not.
My first idea about the demo was that some of the voices in it weren't that good, but I read that this was getting fixed a long time ago. How are they now?
About the graphics, well, they aren't state-of-the-art, but who cares? I still prefer playing another hour of Baldurs gate 2 or diablo 2 above Farcry. I know it's the gameplay what's all imortant.
The music was brilliant. Will the game continue like this or is this the best of it?
How about it's hours of gaming? How long would an average player play this game untill he sees the credits pass by?
And now the major question, why would I want to buy this game? What makes it better then the rest?.
Thanks in Advance, Severijn.
seeing that you didn't indicate whether you played divine divinity (dd)or not, i suggest you buy it because it includes the original dd. dd is simply one of the best rpg's i've ever played, and it has the best soundtrack i have ever heard in an rpg.
if you haven't, i recommend you play dd first so that you'll appreciate where bd takes off.
btw, i played diablo ii myself, and dd was the game that took me out of my d2 addiction. i mean, you can only do so many meph runs, baal runs, countess runs, or bloody foothills runs. i looked for a new adventure and found it in dd.
p.s. i don't have a lot of post count. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
