Another thing I noticed was that the trading skill really doesnt do anything in BD
It does - you can haggle with the trader, meaning: you offer less money or item value.
The costs of potions is so expensive when the game is first started that you cant even afford to buy any.
Hm, ever thought about pickpocketing? I don't know if this is your game style though.
