Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Temple Area - should I start again?

I've just been sort of cruising around in this area, doing the odd quest. However, I went south first instead of heading into the Temple. I finally decided to visit the Temple and of course realize that I have messed up some of the Temple quests during my jaunt south, especially as I am now allied with the Raanaar. So I won't be able to move up that Temple ranking list too far, I'm guessing, since it seems that I don't get dialogue options to accept Temple quests, for the most part.

Also I'm "solving" quests before I get them sometimes, and this is a bit of a problem, at least journal-wise, if not story-wise.

Should I restart this area? Have I messed it up too much?

You can do both the human and Raanaar quests. Have you installed the patch?

Even if a couple quests are messed up it is not too hard to get to second place in the rankings. For some cases where the quest object was found before getting the quest, people were able to drop the item outside the immediate area and talk to the NPC again to trigger the required speech option, then get the quest item to complete the quest.

The ranking quests; Act3 problem need help

How many quests are messed up? If enough ranking quests are broke unfixably that you can not reach second place, then you will have to reload an earlier save, but otherwise it is probably not necessary.
There are also problems with some of the quest log entries for act 3, particularly with the Raanaar quests, which are mostly cosmetic and shouldn't interfere with completing the quests.
