Have you pasted whatever was put in the clipboard in a text editor? It's probably worth reading <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

In case you don't know: whenever you copy and paste something in windows, it is stored on the "clipboard". So all you have to do to know what was copied to your clipboard, is open a text editor and press the keys ctrl + v <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
