so alright i downloaded this game two days ago called "Ground Control 2 MP Demo" at nvidia's website....(background info)

(the problem)

i've been playing it for about 1 day and my game crashes in play to the desktop

crash to desktop = CTD......and what happens is a little window pops up to happily inform me that some crap has been copied to my clipboard...*thinking angry thoughts* and so its the title of this pain in the [nocando] window is called "Booom"

it was a fun free demo too

"Boom" is probably the name of the Ground Control 2 program or a part there of. Programmers use a lot of "interesting" names and language behind the user friendly screens. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I don't think it's anything external from the demo causing you problems, just a buggy demo.

Have you pasted whatever was put in the clipboard in a text editor? It's probably worth reading <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

In case you don't know: whenever you copy and paste something in windows, it is stored on the "clipboard". So all you have to do to know what was copied to your clipboard, is open a text editor and press the keys ctrl + v <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i hope to high heaven my computer doesn't blow up......

too late, handefood. the game's already out early this month. maybe they can look into this to avoid problem in future patches.

this game looks good enough to eat & i've played the singleplayer demo. worked like a functional toilet. i recommend this game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
